2021 Trends – Spring Summer Fashion

2021 trends

The sun is rising and the weather is getting warmer, I think it’s time to talk about the spring-summer trends. If you are a hotter climate person like me, s/s 2021 trends are for you!

We will also talk about trends that are the continuation of the autumn-winter trends, but this summer’s trends seem to take us on a journey through time. Are you ready to go to the late 90s? Let’s go!

Bold Prints

The rainbow motif has become very popular in 2020. So, it shouldn’t be surprising that designers are affected by it as the 2021 trend. Don’t be surprised if you see everyone colorful and patterned this summer because tie dye is no longer just a quarantine hobby. Bold-colored mixed patterns and wearing them together is a thing right now.

If you want to feel the beautiful energy of the sun and reflect it on your clothes during these difficult times, I suggest you try this trend. Because I think wearing colorful is something that makes people happy. Also, it is very easy to try! Open the doors of your closet and take off all your patterned and colorful clothes, wear them without thinking whether the patterns fit or not, and voila! Don’t be afraid of the crowds of patterns because this trend is all about it.

You can start trying this trend with wear just one patterned piece of course. But in the end you will see it’s so fun!

Monochrome is Still a Thing in 2021 Trends

Monochromatic means wear only one colored clothes but it can be different tints offcourse. All of us probably worn all black outfits on our lazy days. It’s also a monochrome and yes it’s that easy but don’t forget; black is the simplest color to do that.

Monochromatic clothing takes less energy but can be quite difficult to get it right. Especially when trying to use bright colors or earthy tones. But we are lucky because this spring summer 2021 trends, monochrome mostly use for black and white. Some big designers play with bold colors and patterns and some of them use only black and white for this summer. So anything black or white is a good investment and always works. Especially with a statement piece or jewelery. It is also easy to style because when you get the right tone, full black or full white outfits look always cool and effortless. Open Backs

We talked about the cut-out trend in the 2021 Winter-Fall Trends. Now we will talk about a trend that is a continuation of the cut-out trend, open backs! Open back detail is actually preferred by all of us for a long time. Because it’s the most elegant way to show some skin. Leg or chest décolleté may not always be proper, but the back is. You can style it with your long evening wear dresses, your daily dresses or even just tops. If you haven’t tried it yet, 2021 trends give you a chance!

Bralette Tops are Very Popular in 2021 Trends

2021 trends

Now, let’s talk about one of my favorite 2021 trends; bralette tops. These are tops that end under the bust so we call them bra tops. When the crop tops first came into our lives, their length ended right above the belly button. After that, they slowly start to get shorter season after season. And this year the bralette tops came in.

I don’t think you’ll struggle to style them. But just in case I want to give you some style inspo.

I think it is one of the easiest and most comfortable tops to wear on hot summer days, but if this is too bare for you, you can style it with oversized blazers or thin cardigans to cover some skin.

G-String Trend

This new 2021 trend takes us to the late 90s. G-string, also known as a whale tail, was spotted on celebrities like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera. Yes, it looks a little risque. Designers design skirts, pants, and dresses that look like your underwear have been exposed from your clothes but no, there are not actual thongs hidden under these garments, but the design gives the illusion of otherwise. This is a trend that not everybody’s taste. But if you are looking for a change here you go.

In 2019 camp-themed Met Gala, Hailey Bieber walked the red carpet with a low back dress that designed by Alexander Wang. With the dress, Bieber showed off a thong that spelled out.
