You may know Zendaya from the Disney Channel series Shake It Up! It was her first lead role and she was only 14 years old. I don’t know how old you were when the series was a big hit but she was even a style icon back then for the early teenagers. Her Disney phrase outfits look so ridiculous to me right now though. Whatever, it was so obvious that she would become a fashion icon back then because she had her own fashion line Daya By Zendaya. It was spectacular wth its gender neutral feature and wide range of size. Unfortunately she stopped working with the distribution company because of some problems and the project stopped. Let’s get into her fashion world in depth.
Zendaya Hanging Out on Streets
She is really really into wearing shabby clothes on her daily life. Zendaya doesn’t wear any makeup. She wears oversize sweatshirts and jeans. These wide cut jeans she wears are really go-to pieces for summer days because when you put a crop top on your look is successfully completed.
Zendaya Slaying Red Carpet
Zendaya slays EVERY RED CARPET she is on. She is literally a red carpet queen with every look of her. Contrast to her very shabby street style, she is so gracious and delicate on the red carpet. From the very early ages of her, Zendaya keeps being striking and never dissapoint the fashion world. She doesn’t have a pattern but I can say that she likes to bring out the dress better. She always chooses some detailed and elegant dresses but keeps her hair, makeup accesories simpler. On the red carpets of big award ceremonies she wore these two beautiful dresses. I find the Burgundy one amazing although I never thought this kind of flower patterned oriental fabric to look such young and stylish. The form of the dress is so good. You should make your tailor sew this form of a dress for you!
She doesn’t like mixing the colors much. She dresses colourfully but chooses her shoes the same shade with her dress and it is a wise move.
I find Zendaya’s each dress a wonder of design because they are so far away from being boring. Especially this fuchsia and mustard dress is so unique. The colors are so vivid and up to date but the form of the dress reminisces me greek goddesses.
These kind of two-piece dresses help you look thinner on the waist, like it does on Zendaya. Yet another wise way to look much more gracious from her.
She shines out with her two MET Gala looks. On the left she again doesn’t use accessories but brings out her starring dress. I am repeating myself: I never thought this kind of a fabric pattern to look that beautiful. It is an extra radiant dress but on Zendaya it doesn’t look ridiculous but fabulous. On the left side we see a very very beautiful tiara with sun motifs on it. The same motifs are on the asymmetrical cut skirt. I like the upper half of her more because she looks angelic with tiara and black top.
I keep the best dress till the end. On the MET Gala 2019, she came to the red carpet as Cinderella. During the ceremony she changed her dress’ color with a show. You will not get it just by looking at the photos so I am leaving here a link for her little show. It is a magical moment. Good Job Zendaya!
And finally, Suits! Zendaya pulls off a suit better than a man ever has. I have seen some beautiful women and I have seen some beautiful women in suits but this is something else girls. Zendaya wears suits like suits are invented for her to wear in the first place. She doesn’t wear suits just for the special occasion, she wears them EVERYTIME. I like how she uses suits as in their monocromity, like she uses same shades of shoes to complete her look. It looks more than awesome. I believe suits are not a masculine thing anymore .There are six best looks of Zendaya in suits below. My favourite ones are definitely the black velvet one and the snake-printed one.
Euphoria
After leaving Disney Channel, Zendaya casts in some Hollywood movies as supporting actress. Her carrier path is completely changed when she is casted as Rue in Euphoria. It is an American teen drama about drug addiction, first love, family traumas, gender issues and body positivity. In today’s world, it is essentially important to draw attention to these kind of issues through entertainment. Not only the issues it covers, but with talented young actresses and the fashion style, it becomes an iconic Tv show.
As I just told you, Zendaya peaked her career this year. She even became the youngest person to win Emmy in the category of Lead Actress in a drama. I recommend you to watch it ASAP if you haven’t yet!
Euphoria has its own world of fashion. In this youtube video you can see some Euphoria inspired outfit ideas. I find Rue’s style more closer to me so I like especially like the ones with Rue inspired.
Other than the clothing style, the makeup style of the show is also so hit. You can find in this video how to apply some of makeups done on the show. It may not be a kind of make up that you want to do in your daily life but I am sure they will give you lots of inspiration for your party outfits.
