I am not going to mention them again but I will recommend you some unconventional Christmas movies which are not classics. Let’s start with the Holiday(2006). It is a beautiful romantic comedy movie taking place on Christmas starring Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. The cast is perfect and it is happening on Christmas! I can say that It is an absolute must-see movie.
The second one is also a romantic movie but it is a drama. Carol(2015) tells the story of two women falling in love each other. It is called as as masterpiece and it took a lot of awards in its release year. You must see these two women’s passion on a forbidden love affair.
Is Die Hard a Christmas movie or not? This has been such a controversial issue for years but I think every movie taking place around Christmas can be a Christmas movie in fact so that is why I am putting it on the list. Die Hard(1988) is about an husband trying to save her wife from being hostage to spend the Christmas with her. If you like action movies with a holiday spirit, you should definitely try this cult movie.
The last movie recommendation from me is The Christmas Chronicles from Netflix. It is a good family movie telling the story of two siblings trying to save the Christmas with the Santa. And Its sequel was just released this year on November. The adventure continues! I am sure your Christmas at home will be the best Christmas ever with these cute movies.
