Diy Face Mask Recipes for Healthy and Silky Skin

Our face gets dirty everyday because of different reasons. Generally we wear makeup everyday but do we clean it well? Is using a makeup remover enough to have a clean skin? Actually not! You should clean your face with different methods like using a cleanser, tonics or a face mask. Of course you should use different cosmetics to clean your face but don’t forget this, natural ingredients are much beneficial and purer from the others. Therefore, I’ve created a beneficial diy face mask list for you! Because you can prepare these diy face masks at home easily. But there are some rules about the homemade face masks usage. Therefore, if you follow these recommendations, it will be better for you!

  • You should clean your face with a natural soap or a cleanser before using these diy face masks.
  • You shouldn’t use these diy face masks if you are allergic to one of these ingredients.
  • It will be better to wash your face with a cold water after applying these face masks. It can help you to tighten your large pores.
  • You shouldn’t apply face mask to your face if you have open sore. It may cause your open sore to get worse.
  • You shouldn’t use these diy face masks to the skin under the eyes unless I state otherwise.
  • Don’t add extra ingredients to face masks. You should only use the fixed quantity of ingredients. If you use more than that, it can damage your skin.
  • You can use a face roller before applying all the diy face masks . It can help you to open the pores, so your skin can absorb the ingredients better.

Now let’s start to learn with a diy face mask for dry skin:

1.NOURISHING DIY FACE MASK FOR DRY SKIN TYPES:

Ingredients:

1 Egg yolk
2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of milk

Instructions:

Mix the ingredients well into a bowl and apply it to your face from below to above. Because egg will be frozen when you apply it. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before washing.

Firstly you can clean this face mask with a natural soap. It will be better to remove the egg from your face by this way. Afterwards, you can wash your face with cold water.

You can apply this diy face mask twice a week in winter months. In summer months, you can apply it every 15 days. Please don’t forget to moisturize your face after the mask application.

2.A RELAXING DIY FACE MASK TO GET RID OF SUNSPOTS

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon yoghurt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 drops of lemon

Instructions:

Firstly, mix the ingredients well into a bowl. And start applying it to your face on the sunspots with circular motion. Afterwards, distribute the face mask to other areas of your face. Let it sit about 15 minutes before washing and then rinse off the mask. You can apply this diy face mask once a week.

Baking soda can help you to remove sunspots from your face. And also, the lactic acid in yoghurt can remove the dead cells from your top skin layer of your face. It will be better to apply the mask in the evening. And don’t forget to use a sunscreen cream before going out.

3.THE BEST REJUVENATING DIY FACE MASK

Ingredients:

1 package of wet yeast
Honey
Water
Towel

Instructions:

Firstly, add the yeast and the water into a bowl and mix them very well. Afterwards, clean your face and apply the honey onto your face before applying the mixture.

Also, you can apply this mask to skin under the eyes. In a bowl, prepare hot water and wet the towel with this water. And put the towel onto your mask. In this way you can improve the effectiveness of this diy face mask. Then, let it sit for 15 minutes before washing.

You can apply this beneficial diy face mask  every 2 weeks. Because this mask improves the blood circulation and the yeast in this mask nourishes your skin.

4.VERY EFFECTIVE TIGHTENING DIY FACE MASK WITH CLAY

Ingredients:

Bentonite Clay, 2 teaspoons
Strained Yoghurt, 2 tablespoons
Wheat Starch, 2 teaspoons

Instructions:

Fristly, mix the ingredients well into a bowl and apply it to clean face. After that, let it sit about 15 minutes. Afterwards, wash your face with cold water. If you have a normal or oily skin type, you can apply this diy face mask, twice a week. However, if your skin type is dry, you should apply this mask once a week. Additionally, it will be better to use a wooden spoon to prepare this mask. Because metal spoon reduces the effect of clay.

5.ANTI WRINKLE DIY FACE MASK

Ingredients:

Egg white, 1
Honey, 2 teaspoons
Brown sugar, 2 teaspoons
Powdered ginger, 2 teaspoons

Instructions:

Mix the ingredients well into a bowl and apply the mask to clean skin. Don’t apply it to the skin under the eyes. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before washing and then rinse it off. After that wash your face with cold water and don’t forget to moisturize your face after the application. Besides, you can use an olive oil as a moisturizer.

You can apply this diy face mask every 15 days. Because egg nourishes your face skin. And honey prevents bacteria formation because of it’s antiseptic property.

6.TURKISH COFFEE DIY FACE MASK WITH PEELING EFFECT

Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons of Turkish coffee
2 Teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

Combine the Turkish coffee and extra virgin olive oil into a bowl. Apply the mixture to your face. Let it sit for about 3 minutes and wash it with cold water. You can apply this diy face mask , once a week. If you have a dry skin type it will better to apply it every 15 days.

As you know, Turkish coffee contains caffeine that can improve the blood circulation and makes your face and cheeks pink. Besides, you can use your drunk Turkish coffee grounds to apply your face as a peeling application.
